IELTS is a testing system that is designed to grade a person’s English language skills based on four aspects of the language: speaking, reading, listening, and writing. Ideally, preparation or preparatorio means several hours of reading and sitting. However, you could do more than studying lengthy IELTS guides and review books.
Study Vocabulary
As an English learner, you have to put words in the right context. You can do this by reading frequently. When you are exposed to more words, the better your vocabulary will be. Always pay close attention to the words you do not know and highlight them with a marker. Try to figure out the meanings of these words. Check the words in the dictionary. Also, read and listen to the challenging materials like English language news. In this way, you get exposed to new words.

Ensure you have a reliable English dictionary and find out the meanings of the new words you come across. That will ensure that you do not translate back to your language. Also, you can scan and skim to form a picture of a text quickly. Ensure you understand what is needed for each task. Read all the instructions carefully. Do not use the dictionary until you have done and checked all your answers.
Enhance Your Writing Skills
Ensure you record the words of part of your English lessons. For instance, you should compose both the sentence utilizing the word and its definition. Also, try to understand the synonyms of some words you use. If you want to improve the speed of your writing, try timed writing. Do not write answers below the required length. For practice, you should look for graphs, charts, and diagrams in the newspaper or the internet and analyze them. Notice the way they are used on various TV programs.
Exercise Fluency and Pronunciation
Speaking aspect of language is divided into three main parts. These areas include a short talk, free interview, and a structured interview. Also, you will be asked a few brief concerns on the familiar topics that last about 5 minutes. To pass the speaking aspect, consistent practice is what is required.
By using new words or correct pronunciation, the student has to practice whatever he or she has learned and imprinting it in mind. Also, this signals to whoever taught you the new skills, or whether it is a friend, fellow-worker, or teacher.
